Gramel (grandma/co-host) is a merry widow who is embracing independence. She’s a study in words — hearing them, speaking them, writing them.

She loves words; learning new words, using them, expressing herself and studying how others use their words: newsworthy, humor, debating, kind use of words — tone of voice, expressive language, mindful of facial changes.

Her love of words translates to her doing a lot of reading, loving/hating politics, conversations with family + friends, talking out loud to herself, keeping a journal, sending greeting cards, singing karaoke. She talks a lot (duh!) and she listens a lot, too. She ponders a lot. She prays. She talks to Roxie, her dog. A lot.

She wants to talk to you!

Also, she loves texting her friends.
